Slow Dials guest operations system

A managed system connecting timed sessions, host controls, guest-facing e-paper devices, staff alerts, and ongoing technical support for a time-ticketed lounge.

Current status

The host console and session engine are live. Device integration and launch validation remain active work. Brand Jet continues to own the technical implementation and support path as the system moves through physical-device testing.

The operating problem

A timed guest experience creates work after the booking

Staff still need to start and monitor sessions, handle extra-time requests, communicate with guests, reset the experience, and know which devices are ready. A booking tool alone does not coordinate that live operating work.

Slow Dials needed that work to feel like one controlled process for staff and one clear experience for guests, without transferring the technical burden to the venue.

The system

One technical layer for the live guest operation

Host console

One operating view for active sessions, remaining time, guest extensions, connected devices, and staff actions.

Session engine

The timing and state layer that keeps the host dashboard and guest-facing experience aligned during a visit.

Guest device experience

Configurable e-paper screens that communicate session status and agreed guest actions without adding another app.

Staff alerts and extensions

Guest requests and extra-time decisions are routed into the operating flow so staff can respond from one place.

Business value

The venue runs the experience. Brand Jet runs the technical side.

A single operating view instead of separate timers and manual checks

Guest communication that can be changed without rebuilding the hardware flow

A managed technical layer with monitoring, maintenance, and launch support
